The audience was convinced that Victorio Sartie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tinguaro Badal was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the 21st minute, Balmaceda's Nahuel Epulef ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Antonio Aspillaga. Antonio Aspillaga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 26 minutes into the game, Nahuel Epulef was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Balmaceda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flojitos Team the free kick. In the 26th match minute, Balmaceda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nahuel Epulef to maneuver through the defense. If Victorio Sartie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duardo Vache during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Duardo Vache kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Tinguaro Badal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Leal in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Juan Luis Mac Auliffe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flojitos Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balmaceda the free kick. Héctor Mallorquin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

In the 51st minute Cresenciano Urriola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Aspillaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruyman Marchetti in the 53rd minute of play forced Balmaceda's goalkeeper Tinguaro Badal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 minutes, Ruyman Marchetti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flojitos Team and the Balmaceda players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ruyman Marchetti hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When Nahuel Epulef came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Balmaceda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nahuel Epulef couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the game, Balmaceda's Cresenciano Urriola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonio Aspillaga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Nahuel Epulef struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Antonio Aspillaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balmaceda. In the 64th match minute, Flojitos Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nafarroa Aboitiz to maneuver through the defense. When Cresenciano Urriola came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Balmaceda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cresenciano Urriola couldn't finish the play. After 76 played minutes Flojitos Team got a freekick which was hit by Ruyman Marchetti. In the 77th minute, Nahuel Epulef got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nahuel Epulef was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Balmaceda's Nahuel Epulef got a free kick in the 78th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Victorio Sartie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flojitos Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorio Sartie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tanausu Desmadryl charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tanausu Desmadryl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Balmaceda's Tanausu Desmadryl got a free kick in the 94th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Héctor Mallorquin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flojitos Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Héctor Mallorquin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tinguaro Badal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
