Alipio Galan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Godfredo Francis made a huge save. When Zezen Gorri's Bertalan Kuncz in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pajaritos's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alcides Laferte got free with Godfredo Francis in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Godfredo Francis was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Alipio Galan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alipio Galan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Pajaritos's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Fresco came free, but Estevan Salamanca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Federico Grillo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Ramon María Cox in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Zezen Gorri's Celedonio Jon. Celedonio Jon took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Estevan Salamanca. Estevan Salamanca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Juan Fresco struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Estevan Salamanca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zezen Gorri. Estevan Salamanca came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Zezen Gorri's Juan Fresco. But to his dismay, Juan Fresco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 47th minute, Sansón Octavio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Zezen Gorri were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Vladimiro Orlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Estevan Salamanca having to interfere. Estevan Salamanca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Orlin in the 58th minute of play. When Pajaritos's Alipio Galan in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zezen Gorri's goalie prevented a goal. Pajaritos's Estevan Salamanca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Fresco in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Federico Grillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Miguel Eguiguren hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute Marco Ferrari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Francis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimiro Orlin kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Zezen Gorri's Vladimiro Orlin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Estevan Salamanca. Estevan Salamanca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Godfredo Francis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Maria Diena in the 77th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Fresco in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Estevan Salamanca saved Pajaritos from getting behind. In the 81st minute, Vladimiro Orlin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Estevan Salamanca was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Pajaritos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Juan Fresco scored to the left of an out of position Estevan Salamanca, making the score, 1-7. In the 89th minute, Zezen Gorri's Bertalan Kuncz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8. When Vladimiro Orlin came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Zezen Gorri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Orlin couldn't finish the play. Vladimiro Orlin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Estevan Salamanca made a huge save. Zezen Gorri played a much better game than Pajaritos and deserved their victory. The Pajaritos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
