Gervasio Acasuso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for American Pitbull Fc. Carmais's Gervasio Acasuso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Carmais from getting a goal against them. Germán Sires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Elías Tirado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 9 played minutes American Pitbull Fc got a freekick which was hit by Duardo Pazos. Bartolomé Carcavilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gervasio Acasuso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Faustino Bünzli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gervasio Acasuso was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Moncho Palma capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Moncho Palma really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, Carmais's goal looked a bit too open when Moncho Palma came free, but Gervasio Acasuso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Bartolomé Carcavilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Acasuso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th match minute, American Pitbull Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnín Villota to maneuver through the defense. Bartolomé Carcavilla scored 2-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gervasio Acasuso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Saturnín Villota managed to get in a good position for a shot. American Pitbull Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Saturnín Villota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gervasio Acasuso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bartolomé Carcavilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Acasuso having to interfere.

In the 53rd minute Moncho Palma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Acasuso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moncho Palma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gervasio Acasuso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Carmais's zone, Saturnín Villota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Acasuso came out of the goal and Saturnín Villota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Carmais's Jacobo Barrios got a free kick in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Carmais's goal looked a bit too open when Moncho Palma came free, but Gervasio Acasuso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bermejo Loyola fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored American Pitbull Fc's protests and gave Bermejo Loyola a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, one of American Pitbull Fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for American Pitbull Fc. Elías Tirado went to the wrong direction when Valentín Heredia was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 79th minute Estebano Sanabria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elías Tirado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of American Pitbull Fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Carmais:s goal. When the match had been going on for 85 minutes, Carmais's Valentín Heredia got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Elías Tirado. After 87 played minutes Carmais got a freekick which was hit by Iván Gajardo. Elías Tirado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Estebano Sanabria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 100th minute of the match Saturnín Villota completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Saturnín Villota a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. An unexpected shot in the 102nd minute by Germán Sires got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the referee ended the match the American Pitbull Fc players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
