After taking down the ball on Huari AFC's corner Javiero Acle fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Haroldo Iturribalzaga quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Huari AFC booed when Majadilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Sabater didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Moncho Veloso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leopoldo Jacinto Honores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute, Moncho Veloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Huari AFC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Jacinto Honores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Moncho Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Jacinto Honores having to interfere. When Ludovico Arbieto came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Majadilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludovico Arbieto couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ludovico Arbieto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Angelillo Rondón had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haroldo Iturribalzaga. Majadilla 's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelillo Rondón was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Ludovico Arbieto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leopoldo Jacinto Honores. That made the score 1-3 in the 84 minute of play. Moncho Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute.
