In the 17th minute, Visen Goñi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Tiquima AFC's Santiago Basay in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Zarpas Aracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Basay, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. If Santiago Basay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santiago Basay to strike the kick off in the second half. Guntademaro Valenzuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Tiñoli having to interfere. Xamín Marquéz kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Guntademaro Valenzuela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Damián Martínez de Aldunate hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Alonzo Nicoletti took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Florentino Tiñoli to make any attempt to save it. Tiquima AFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
