In the 18th minute of the match Maximiliano Canitrot shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Toni Arenas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Moisés Madrid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pacífico Chacon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toni Arenas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxín Ulloa in the 27th minute of play. Silviano Inzunza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Moisés Madrid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pacífico Chacon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Silviano Inzunza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ermita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silviano Inzunza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moisés Madrid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pacífico Chacon struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. The referee showed Celedonio Schuchardt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ermita FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Celedonio Schuchardt hit a great ball. In the 90th minute Orlín Millape shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toni Arenas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Silviano Inzunza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juan Luis Monreal hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Ermita FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Chadmo FC to win.
