The audience thought a goal was coming when Eulalio Nordman got free with Dalmacio Parant in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, CazuelasTeam's Dalmacio Parant got control of the ball when Eulalio Nordman tried to sneak it across the goal line. CazuelasTeam's Dalmacio Parant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save CazuelasTeam from getting a goal against them. CazuelasTeam's Casimír Gazitúa got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, CazuelasTeam's Alexandro Grajales got a free kick in the 28th minute. Eulalio Nordman had several of the CazuelasTeam's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Dalmacio Parant as he didn't even see the shot coming. When CazuelasTeam's Herminio Schiappacasse in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Casimír Gazitúa hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bodeguilla's zone, Herminio Schiappacasse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zebulón Garza came out of the goal and Herminio Schiappacasse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luis Alberto Verdugo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Demesio Landa kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Zebulón Garza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Schiappacasse in the 53rd minute of play.
