Isaac Partarrieu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Margarita AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Nazario Venezian hit a great ball. The Margarita AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Huilqueco were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Asier Deramond to make the kick off. Pedro Galeas's late challenge caught a Margarita AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Galeas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Huilqueco's Pedro Galeas got a free kick in the 58th minute. Isaac Partarrieu was a little too slow when Archibaldo Maffioletti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-2. Andoni Bustunzuria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isaac Partarrieu having to make a save. Archibaldo Maffioletti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaac Partarrieu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Huilqueco's Archibaldo Maffioletti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Isaac Partarrieu. That made the score 0-3 after 74 minutes of play. When Huilqueco's Archibaldo Maffioletti in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 94 minutes, Quique Patterson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huilqueco and the Margarita AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Quique Patterson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaac Partarrieu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andoni Bustunzuria in the 96th minute of play. The Margarita AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Huilqueco's performance. The match ended with a win for Huilqueco.
