He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Estrella Solitaria reached it. Normando Sotomayor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 42 minutes, Normando Sotomayor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estrella Solitaria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Normando Sotomayor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nereo Raffo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 82nd match minute, Caldera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Abrego to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute Normando Sotomayor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogerio Maza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Normando Sotomayor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute of the match Tanausu Mattensohn sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pere Unger skillfully saved the ball. The Caldera fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Estrella Solitaria were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
