Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000,
Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Metrenco's Baraquiel Irarrázaval started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. León Santander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selmo Máximo in the 3rd minute of the match. Carelmapu's Raúlo Máximo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Carelmapu from getting a goal against them. In the 6th minute Mateo Quiero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but León Santander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 played minutes Marko Talevski rounded Carelmapu's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 13th minute, Marco Majeux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carelmapu's Raúlo Máximo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baraquiel Irarrázaval in the 16th minute of play. Raúlo Máximo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Talevski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toni Sotelo's late challenge caught a Metrenco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toni Sotelo helped the player get up and apologised. Guillermo Orihuela hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Edgar Malaree sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Baraquiel Irarrázaval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Mario Chandia made a precise shot to the right of León Santander. Metrenco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Metrenco's Carlos Hernán Albuerne got a free kick in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Cobaleda to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Metrenco's Marko Talevski made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raúlo Máximo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 62 played minutes Metrenco got a freekick which was hit by Mario Pappenheim. Raúlo Máximo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Alberto Fabiani in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Carelmapu's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Talevski came free, but Raúlo Máximo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Malaree sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Carelmapu's zone, Marko Talevski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raúlo Máximo came out of the goal and Marko Talevski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raúlo Máximo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baraquiel Irarrázaval in the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Carelmapu's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Hernán Albuerne came free, but Raúlo Máximo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Metrenco's Marko Talevski in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee gave Metrenco a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marco Majeux, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Carelmapu's Raúlo Máximo. 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Talevski in the 93rd minute of play forced Carelmapu's goalkeeper Raúlo Máximo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Baraquiel Irarrázaval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marko Talevski came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Metrenco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marko Talevski couldn't finish the play.
