Spectators: 6694 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 0) Itahue's Inocente Fevre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Itahue from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Itahue's Inocente Fevre got control of the ball when Cirilo Ahues tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Amado Tobar fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saucache's protests and gave Amado Tobar a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Itahue booed when Saucache was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Tobar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Itahue's Pere Pemjean in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saucache's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 23 minutes, Pere Pemjean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itahue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pere Pemjean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pere Pemjean in the 29th minute of play forced Saucache's goalkeeper Severiano Schlegel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Amado Tobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocente Fevre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Haroldo Longa during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Itahue's Haroldo Longa got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Amado Tobar was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Itahue booed when Saucache was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Ahues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Itahue's Severo Larrañaga couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Saucache. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miren Matamala in the 46th minute of play forced Saucache's goalkeeper Severiano Schlegel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miren Matamala stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Severiano Schlegel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miren Matamala in the 52nd minute of the match. Miren Matamala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Schlegel having to interfere. If Miren Matamala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Ramon Valdovinos's late challenge caught a Itahue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Ramon Valdovinos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute of the match Domenico Poblete shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severiano Schlegel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Saucache's goalkeeper Severiano Schlegel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pere Pemjean. Pere Pemjean was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. Itahue's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Saucache's zone, Pere Pemjean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Schlegel came out of the goal and Pere Pemjean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miren Matamala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miren Matamala in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severiano Schlegel saved Saucache from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Miren Matamala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itahue's supporters rose to their feet, but Miren Matamala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severiano Schlegel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Itahue walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
