In the 8th minute, one of Saucache:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Saucache. Severiano Schlegel went to the wrong direction when Alejandro Escandón was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Saucache's Severiano Schlegel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Saucache from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Saucache's zone, Patricio Thomas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Schlegel came out of the goal and Patricio Thomas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iván Luis Semell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Soriano Piña, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Saucache's Soriano Piña sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iván Luis Semell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Mohamed Montoya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BULLA FC's Iván Luis Semell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Soriano Piña in the 55th minute of play. If Cirilo Ahues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Saucache's Hermelando Aldunate got a free kick in the 61st minute. Severiano Schlegel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Thomas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iván Luis Semell acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Edelmiro Hermida. A collision led to Saucache getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ubaldo Matildo Donoso hit a great ball. Saucache's Severiano Schlegel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Thomas in the 72nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Patricio Thomas put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Severiano Schlegel. When Soriano Piña came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Saucache fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Soriano Piña couldn't finish the play. Soriano Piña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iván Luis Semell having to interfere. Mohamed Montoya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Patricio Thomas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severiano Schlegel. Saucache's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patricio Thomas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Mohamed Montoya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
