The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to U.AldeaXAzul getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Enrique Mariano Hermosilla hit a great ball. Evelio Castelblanco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juan Jose Feldman. U.AldeaXAzul's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hornillas FC's zone, Domingo Flechart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bairon Mofre came out of the goal and Domingo Flechart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bairon Mofre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrián Koch in the 14th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Hornillas FC's goalkeeper Bairon Mofre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xavier Angel Arizmendi. After 20 minutes of play, Hornillas FC's Ismael Nazario Ferrel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Jose Feldman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bairon Mofre made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Xavier Angel Arizmendi sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the game, Omar Dessauer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Juan Jose Feldman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Adrián Koch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingo Flechart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Bairon Mofre made a huge save. With his leg Bairon Mofre managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when U.AldeaXAzul's Domingo Flechart fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Juan Jose Feldman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Dessauer in the 37th minute of play.

U.AldeaXAzul's Aaron Villalón was substituted for Domingo Flechart. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omar Dessauer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gonzalo Menarte kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Bairon Mofre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Angel Arizmendi in the 63rd minute of play. Xavier Angel Arizmendi took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bairon Mofre. Bairon Mofre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The audience was convinced that Aaron Villalón's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bairon Mofre was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Juan Jose Feldman was a little too slow when Omar Dessauer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 2-3. U.AldeaXAzul's Juan Jose Feldman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Dessauer in the 86th minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, U.AldeaXAzul's Aaron Villalón nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bairon Mofre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
