Quintero's José Antonio Rebolledo got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Zarpas Matiuzzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th minute Jeronimo Marchese shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Diez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeronimo Marchese sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If José Antonio Rebolledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Jeronimo Marchese left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quintero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Quintero's José Antonio Rebolledo in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Isluga's goalie prevented a goal. If Jeronimo Marchese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Antonio Rebolledo was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Antonio Rebolledo in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezequiel Diez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, José Antonio Rebolledo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quintero's supporters rose to their feet, but José Antonio Rebolledo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Diez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isluga's Ezequiel Diez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Isluga from getting a goal against them. Jeronimo Marchese's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ezequiel Diez firmly grabbed it by the left post. Honorato Monasterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Alzaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 played minutes Quintero got a freekick which was hit by Nastasio Villamar. After a rather tough play, Quintero's Lucero Parant got a free kick in the 78th minute. After 80 played minutes Quintero got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Marchese. After 82 minutes of play, Quintero's Markus Crawley made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ezequiel Diez was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Jeronimo Marchese came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Quintero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Marchese couldn't finish the play. Jeronimo Marchese recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The attack was good, but when Zarpas Matiuzzi in the 96th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The Isluga supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Quintero's performance. The match ended with a win for Quintero.
