Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nemesio Tous started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the match, Fraguita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Topocho Durand came free, but Norberto Armenta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nemesio Tous's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Teodosio Ruz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nemesio Tous received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Teodosio Ruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosme Balut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norberto Armenta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Topocho Durand, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When Francisco Alberto Dutard fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pichangas FC's protests and gave Francisco Alberto Dutard a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Pichangas FC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Alberto Dutard. Francisco Alberto Dutard was shown his second yellow card after 28 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 29 played minutes Pichangas FC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Alberto Dutard. Lander Banda, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 31st of the match, Nemesio Tous tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Teodosio Ruz got in the way and made a wonderful save. Fraguita FC's Norberto Armenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Balut in the 34th minute of play. Cosme Balut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Armenta having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Cosme Balut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 42 played minutes Fraguita FC got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Mannhardt. When Cosme Balut came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Pichangas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosme Balut couldn't finish the play. Teodosio Ruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conrado Mannhardt in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cosme Balut was the one to do the kick off. Nemesio Tous sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Pichangas FC's zone, Nemesio Tous stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Ruz came out of the goal and Nemesio Tous tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norberto Armenta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cosme Balut in the 66th minute. Norberto Armenta came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Pichangas FC's Cosme Balut. But to his dismay, Cosme Balut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Balut in the 72nd minute of play forced Fraguita FC's goalkeeper Norberto Armenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Pichangas FC's Topocho Durand got a free kick in the 74th minute. If Nemesio Tous had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 81st minute of the match Topocho Durand completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Topocho Durand a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Pichangas FC's Topocho Durand got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Lander Banda was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nemesio Tous fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Ruz having to interfere.
