Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Devil f.c's Rogelio Cares started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Rogelio Cares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Santiago Pellegrini. Rogelio Cares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 8th minute Nicodemo Larrarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roldán Mardones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicodemo Larrarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roldán Mardones having to interfere. Roldán Mardones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Garmendia in the 14th minute of the match. Fernando Bassenge came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Santiago Pellegrini could save by the left post. Devil f.c's Roldán Mardones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efraín Máximo in the 17th minute of play. Huachipato FC's Santiago Pellegrini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Huachipato FC from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the game, Enrique Mariano Riveros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Santiago Pellegrini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 22nd match minute, Huachipato FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Garmendia to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicodemo Larrarte in the 24th minute of play forced Devil f.c's goalkeeper Roldán Mardones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Pellegrini made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Fernando Bassenge sent off a good shot on target. Rogelio Cares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Pellegrini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Huachipato FC's Santiago Pellegrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Cares in the 36th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Devil f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Uriondo to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Huachipato FC's Florinio Garfias tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rogelio Cares kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicodemo Larrarte was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Huachipato FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Cares came free, but Santiago Pellegrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Ernesto Garmendia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Oriol Quero notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Huachipato FC's Santiago Pellegrini. Santiago Pellegrini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Santiago Pellegrini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Bassenge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roldán Mardones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicodemo Larrarte in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicodemo Larrarte in the 65th minute of play forced Devil f.c's goalkeeper Roldán Mardones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roldán Mardones made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Ernesto Garmendia sent off a good shot on target. Rogelio Cares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Pellegrini having to interfere. The supporters of Huachipato FC booed when Devil f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabián Beiza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Cares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santiago Pellegrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Cares in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Devil f.c players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
