Spectators: 7381 (Terracing: 5537, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nicodemo Larrarte started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute of the match Florinio Garfias sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jhon Hernandez skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Bodeuca getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Manuel Winter hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Huachipato FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Moroni came free, but Santiago Pellegrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 20 in the game by Javier Bastic from a close distance when the talented Santiago Pellegrini managed to make a qualified save. Huachipato FC's players were relieved. In the 22nd minute, Nicodemo Larrarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jhon Hernandez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Huachipato FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Hugo Calabrano hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Huachipato FC's goalkeeper Santiago Pellegrini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Javier Bastic. Nicodemo Larrarte scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jhon Hernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Ernesto Garmendia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huachipato FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Garmendia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jhon Hernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jhon Hernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Garmendia in the 39th minute of play. Nicodemo Larrarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bodeuca's Jhon Hernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Garmendia in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Efraín Máximo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Hilario Mattensohn could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Jhon Hernandez however easily saved by the left post. Santiago Pellegrini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Moroni, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Winter during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Huachipato FC booed when Bodeuca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Winter didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ernesto Garmendia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jhon Hernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodemo Larrarte in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Huachipato FC's Inocente Zebadilla got a free kick in the 79th minute. Javier Bastic struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Santiago Pellegrini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bodeuca. If Ernesto Garmendia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute, Efraín Máximo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 played minutes Bodeuca got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Sarratea. Ernesto Garmendia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jhon Hernandez came out and tried to block the shot, but Ernesto Garmendia slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 96th minute. The Bodeuca fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Huachipato FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
