When the match had been going on for 23 minutes, Churiguaylla FC's Enrique Mariano Poza got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Santiago Pellegrini. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Markus Mellibosky to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Ernesto Garmendia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Churiguaylla FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Luis María Souza hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Nicodemo Larrarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raúlo Couve charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raúlo Couve the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raúlo Couve kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The supporters of Churiguaylla FC booed when Huachipato FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efraín Máximo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Churiguaylla FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Ernesto Garmendia scored to the left of an out of position Silvino Corral, making the score, 1-2.
