Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Reyes Pedraza started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Huachipato FC booed when Huajacia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Miguel Martel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd minute, Nicodemo Larrarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicodemo Larrarte in the 5th minute of play forced Huajacia's goalkeeper Laureano Armanet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Huajacia getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Nazario Schlegel hit a great ball. Laureano Armanet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodemo Larrarte in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Nicodemo Larrarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute Reyes Pedraza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Pellegrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bertrán Feldman took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santiago Pellegrini. Santiago Pellegrini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Santiago Pellegrini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertrán Feldman in the 16th minute of the match. Bertrán Feldman might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santiago Pellegrini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertrán Feldman ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st match minute, Huachipato FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Daudet to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Paco Campino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto Garmendia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Ernesto Garmendia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 38th minute, Nicodemo Larrarte fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Laureano Armanet, passed just outside the right post. Bertrán Feldman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Santiago Pellegrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Huachipato FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Huajacia were winning 0-1.

Reyes Pedraza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Santiago Pellegrini made a huge save. A collision led to Huajacia getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Fidelio Cuenca hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Bertrán Feldman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huajacia's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertrán Feldman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Pellegrini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Huachipato FC's Santiago Pellegrini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Huachipato FC from getting a goal against them. Nazario Schlegel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicodemo Larrarte during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nicodemo Larrarte hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After having played for 80 minutes, Reyes Pedraza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huajacia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reyes Pedraza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Samuel Daudet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laureano Armanet. Huajacia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Daudet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Santiago Pellegrini made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Eber Elguea sent off a good shot on target. Santiago Pellegrini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertrán Feldman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Huajacia booed when Huachipato FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efraín Máximo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Huachipato FC could leave the field as winners, despite Huajacia having more of the ball for most of the match.
