Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Delmiro Salvatici kicked off to start the match. Manuel Perochena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Salvatici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmiro Salvatici had several of the River Plate's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 6 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Manuel Perochena as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eufrasio Armstrong got free with Manuel Perochena in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Delmiro Salvatici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Perochena having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Delmiro Salvatici recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Perochena. Delmiro Salvatici showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate's zone, Eufrasio Armstrong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Perochena came out of the goal and Eufrasio Armstrong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Eufrasio Armstrong came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Altar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eufrasio Armstrong couldn't finish the play. In the 38thth minute of the game Delmiro Salvatici who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Plate's Manuel Perochena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manuel Perochena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmiro Salvatici's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horacio Perl during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Horacio Perl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Delmiro Salvatici got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvio Sánchez to make the kick off. Eufrasio Armstrong kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Miguel Ángel Blondel in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Badamasi Adegbesan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Silvio Sánchez hit a great ball. If Delmiro Salvatici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eufrasio Armstrong was shown his second yellow card after 64 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Altar FC's Eufrasio Armstrong got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Delmiro Salvatici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Perochena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmiro Salvatici's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After having played for 87 minutes, Haroldo Godarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Godarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Delmiro Salvatici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Horacio Perl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Perochena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Salvatici in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zelipe Penschke to maneuver through the defense. Delmiro Salvatici took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Perochena. Manuel Perochena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Altar FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
