Ezmundo Milan's late challenge caught a Tulahuen AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ezmundo Milan helped the player get up and apologised. 14 minutes into the game, one of Cristo Salva:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Tulahuen AFC a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Xamín Camelo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cristo Salva's Alvino Borda. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rómulo Mansilla during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tulahuen AFC booed when Cristo Salva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rómulo Mansilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 minutes, Teodor Ureta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cristo Salva and the Tulahuen AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Teodor Ureta hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Cristo Salva's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Magalhaes came free, but Alvino Borda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban Cid took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvino Borda. Alvino Borda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Nauzet Cacho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lino Lezaeta in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Lezaeta in the 56th minute of play forced Tulahuen AFC's goalkeeper Nauzet Cacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Lino Lezaeta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cristo Salva's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Lezaeta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nauzet Cacho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patxi Cross kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Eustacio Magalhaes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alvino Borda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Cid in the 87th minute of the match. Roque Balboa charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roque Balboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roque Balboa kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Lino Lezaeta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Nauzet Cacho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lino Lezaeta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Tulahuen AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
