In the 19thth minute of the game Elear Barticciotto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Placilla FC's Damario Evar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Caracote AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Alexandro Erwenne hit a great ball. Elear Barticciotto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Próspero Fabri succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 26th playminute. Lucas Tornero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Jesus Traverso might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damario Evar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damario Evar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Solis, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Feliberto Otaiza kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 41 minutes of play, Caracote AFC's Elear Barticciotto made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damario Evar was left in no man's land by his defense there! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elear Barticciotto was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Caracote AFC's Oscar Solis got a free kick in the 57th minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Carlos Gustavo Isasiguia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Placilla FC's goalkeeper Damario Evar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Jesus Traverso. Elear Barticciotto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damario Evar having to interfere. Soriano Fath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Tornero in the 97th minute of play. Many of Caracote AFC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Caracote AFC may have spent more time on the ball, but Placilla FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
