A collision led to Club O´Higgins getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Hilario Huechun hit a great ball. Zebulón Teran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonel Leese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pacífico Bourchier in the 18th minute of the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Hugo Orlando Tellerias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilquico AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Orlando Tellerias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Brito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zebulón Teran's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Club O´Higgins booed when Quilquico AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Orlando Tellerias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Orlando Tellerias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Brito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Quilquico AFC's Hugo Orlando Tellerias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Brito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zebulón Teran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Zebulón Teran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Orlando Tellerias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Hugo Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quilquico AFC's Leonel Leese played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sarracino Bischhoffshausen in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Orlando Tellerias in the 59th minute of play forced Club O´Higgins's goalkeeper Hugo Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zebulón Teran, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Leonel Leese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sarracino Bischhoffshausen in the 68th minute of the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sarracino Bischhoffshausen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Leonel Leese tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quilquico AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Club O´Higgins for a fine match.
