Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Casimiro Trucios kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Laquena's Pío Daire got control of the ball when Rollo Charme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pío Daire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Trucios, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland Arias got free with Pío Daire in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Romeral FC's Casimiro Trucios got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Farreras in the 21st minute of play forced Romeral FC's goalkeeper Cristiano Telaeche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Casimiro Trucios reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pío Daire. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 34th minute, Belmiro Cortés hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roland Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimeno Potts's late challenge caught a Romeral FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimeno Potts helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes Laquena got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Potts. In the 44th minute Alex Máximo suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Belmiro Cortés fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laquena's protests and gave Belmiro Cortés a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Laquena getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Belmiro Cortés hit a great ball.

In the 53rd minute, Laquena's Leonides Farreras dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Pío Daire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristiano Telaeche came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Laquena's Belmiro Cortés. But to his dismay, Belmiro Cortés quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Laquena's Belmiro Cortés was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 67th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Romeral FC's Roland Arias got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Leonides Farreras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonides Farreras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Telaeche having to interfere. Casimiro Trucios kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Romeral FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juan Raúl Nordon was slow to take the kick. During this time Laquena's players had a chance to rest. Ismael Nazario Bolados was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 95 minutes into the match, Romeral FC's goalkeeper Cristiano Telaeche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonides Farreras. 98 minutes into the match, Laquena's Belmiro Cortés sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Telaeche narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Laquena had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
