The supporters of pte alto PC. booed when Hilaricos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Velasco Fornes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 minutes, Amador Ávila made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. pte alto PC.'s Maurilio Trouve tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Hilaricos's Yoel Hermida sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurilio Trouve narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Velasco Fornes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Laurín Taibo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Hilaricos's Gaston Urrutia. Hilaricos's Amador Ávila got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Yoel Hermida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurilio Trouve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Ávila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurilio Trouve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Ávila, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. pte alto PC.'s Maurilio Trouve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yoel Hermida in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laurín Taibo made a kick off. Laurín Taibo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Laurín Taibo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaston Urrutia was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. pte alto PC.'s Roque Rojo got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, pte alto PC.'s Laurín Taibo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaston Urrutia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teodor Ovando's late challenge caught a pte alto PC.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodor Ovando helped the player get up and apologised. Teodor Ovando kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
