The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 10 played minutes Cerrillos got a freekick which was hit by Nahuel Guisado. Mohamed Jaña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Teodor Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Cerrillos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hilaricos:s goal. Hernán Oñate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaiás Llano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Cerrillos's zone, Mohamed Jaña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodor Paredes came out of the goal and Mohamed Jaña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cerrillos's Teodor Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Antonio Zelada in the 27th minute of play. Hernán Oñate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaiás Llano in the 28th minute of the match. Teodor Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Jaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Manuel Antonio Zelada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Teodor Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaiás Llano in the 42nd minute of play forced Hilaricos's goalkeeper Hernán Oñate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mohamed Jaña made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Hilaricos's goal looked a bit too open when Isaiás Llano came free, but Hernán Oñate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Poveda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Isaiás Llano came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Cerrillos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaiás Llano couldn't finish the play. After having played for 60 minutes, Isaiás Llano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerrillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaiás Llano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pablo Poveda struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Hernán Oñate didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cerrillos. Teodor Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Jaña in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Lucio Jose María Cohen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cerrillos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hilaricos the free kick. Lucio Jose María Cohen hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Teodor Paredes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cerrillos's Teodor Paredes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Cerrillos from getting a goal against them. With his leg Teodor Paredes managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Hilaricos's Manuel Antonio Zelada fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Cerrillos's zone, Mohamed Jaña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodor Paredes came out of the goal and Mohamed Jaña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marc Ulloa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teodor Paredes. Cerrillos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Manuel Antonio Zelada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodor Paredes having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
