Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) 2 minutes into the game, Adriano Rosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Horcon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cufeo the free kick. Adriano Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Samuel Paillao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Milroy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximiliano Aguilera during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 8 minutes into the game, one of Cufeo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Samuel Paillao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Milroy, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Horcon FC's Samuel Paillao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Milroy in the 20th minute of play. Candido Milroy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Paillao having to make a save. 26 minutes into the match, Cufeo's goal looked a bit too open when Andoni Rochefort came free, but Angelo Sol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Horcon FC's zone, Epifanío Wenner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Paillao came out of the goal and Epifanío Wenner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Candido Milroy in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Paillao saved Horcon FC from getting behind. Ariel Ortega shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When Epifanío Wenner came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Cufeo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanío Wenner couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Candido Milroy made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanío Wenner in the 52nd minute of play forced Horcon FC's goalkeeper Samuel Paillao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Horcon FC's Andoni Rochefort in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cufeo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 66th minute Epifanío Wenner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Paillao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Milroy in the 69th minute of play forced Horcon FC's goalkeeper Samuel Paillao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candido Milroy scored 1-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel Paillao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 74 minutes, Epifanío Wenner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cufeo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Epifanío Wenner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ariel Ortega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute of the match Maximiliano Aguilera sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Paillao skillfully saved the ball. If Candido Milroy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
