The Timar FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Argomedo should have stopped the shot. Gilesindo Quevedo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omar Puyo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Timar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Puyo came free, but Rolando Argomedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elodio Gazitúa's late challenge caught a Timar FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elodio Gazitúa helped the player get up and apologised. Elodio Gazitúa kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Omar Puyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Argomedo having to interfere.
