After recieving a nice pass, Soco AFC's Sebastiano Turrieta tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. José Julio Rogers didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 11th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. José Julio Rogers made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Andreas Grep sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute, Honorio Mas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Julio Rogers was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After a rather tough play, Los Torreones's Teodoro Maluenda got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 35th minute, Edgardo Blondel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Los Torreones's Honorio Mas got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Edgardo Blondel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Julio Rogers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Julio Rogers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Blondel in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ermegildo Gerbella to make the kick off. Soco AFC's José Julio Rogers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Grep in the 55th minute of play. After some careless play in the Soco AFC defense, Ermegildo Gerbella kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Julio Rogers. The Soco AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Julio Rogers should have stopped the shot. After 59 minutes, Ermegildo Gerbella made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Soco AFC's José Julio Rogers tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Soco AFC's Eulalio Polhemus got a free kick in the 65th minute. José Julio Rogers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Grep, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Soco AFC defense, Andreas Grep kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Julio Rogers. Andreas Grep's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Julio Rogers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Edgardo Blondel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Torreones's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Blondel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Julio Rogers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Los Torreones were the better team. Los Torreones's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
