If Carlos Manuel Grebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Gasparin FC booed when Horno AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Manuel Pensa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Maurilio Zuloaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Manuel Grebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Florinio Schlubach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingo Andolcetti took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niceto Gipoulou. Niceto Gipoulou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Domingo Andolcetti was extremely unlucky when he, in the 17th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazario Trumbull in the 24th minute of play forced Gasparin FC's goalkeeper Florinio Schlubach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Gasparin FC's Reyes Wickel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niceto Gipoulou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Horno AFC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Robert Garfias hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazario Trumbull in the 33rd minute of play forced Gasparin FC's goalkeeper Florinio Schlubach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florinio Schlubach didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Manuel Grebe went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Carlos Manuel Grebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florinio Schlubach stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nazario Trumbull's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Florinio Schlubach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nazario Trumbull, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nazario Trumbull had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gasparin FC's Reyes Wickel got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domingo Andolcetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gasparin FC's Florinio Schlubach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Gasparin FC from getting a goal against them. Carlos Manuel Grebes short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Florinio Schlubach to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 74th minute, Reyes Wickel made a precise shot to the right of Niceto Gipoulou. Horno AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Niceto Gipoulou came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Gasparin FC's Domingo Andolcetti. But to his dismay, Domingo Andolcetti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 86th minute Reyes Wickel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Gipoulou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horno AFC's Niceto Gipoulou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Andolcetti in the 87th minute of play. When Carlos Manuel Grebe fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Horno AFC's protests and gave Carlos Manuel Grebe a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 96 minutes, Reyes Wickel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gasparin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reyes Wickel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gasparin FC had won after a very even match.
