Spectators: 6712 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) Cutijmaya's Angelillo Anziani started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Arnaldo Amorini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Madeo Lambarrie in the 11th minute of play forced Chanco's goalkeeper Juan Cifuentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 minutes, Arnaldo Amorini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cutijmaya and the Chanco players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arnaldo Amorini hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Chanco's Ricardo Soriano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cutijmaya. 17 minutes into the match, Cutijmaya's goal looked a bit too open when Mónico Garbiso came free, but Juan Luis Alpi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Luis Alpi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mónico Garbiso in the 18th minute. Mónico Garbiso struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Juan Luis Alpi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chanco. When Miren Zanetta fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chanco's protests and gave Miren Zanetta a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chanco getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Miren Zanetta hit a great ball. When Giancarlo Almendras came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Chanco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giancarlo Almendras couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Cutijmaya's zone, Mónico Garbiso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Luis Alpi came out of the goal and Mónico Garbiso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Madeo Lambarrie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the game, Giancarlo Almendras was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chanco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cutijmaya the free kick. When Arnaldo Amorini was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 37 minutes had been played. Arnaldo Amorini hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Madeo Lambarrie in the 44th minute of play forced Chanco's goalkeeper Juan Cifuentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mónico Garbiso made a kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Vasco Marholz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cutijmaya's Juan Luis Alpi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Chanco booed when Cutijmaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Mann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vasco Marholz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Isaiás Cabrito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chanco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cutijmaya the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Chanco:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cutijmaya:s goal. Baudelio Peirano shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 71st minute, Alvino Armijo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Chanco's Ricardo Soriano got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Madeo Lambarrie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Cifuentes having to interfere. After having played for 77 minutes, Angelillo Anziani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cutijmaya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelillo Anziani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Madeo Lambarrie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Cifuentes having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Cutijmaya got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Mann. Juan Luis Alpi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mónico Garbiso in the 96th minute of play. Juan Luis Alpi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasco Marholz in the 97th minute of the match. Chanco's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
