An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Soza in the 49th minute of play forced Chumelden's goalkeeper Zenón Morillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan María Lama was the one to do the kick off. Zenón Morillo was a little too slow when Juan María Lama got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-1. Cristóbal Ascue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Alessandri, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The Pachingo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Chumelden's Zenón Morillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan María Lama in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pachingo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
