After having played for 13 minutes, Carlo Lambert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gauchal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlo Lambert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Deoxis F.C.'s goalkeeper Gregorio Sastre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jasone Mancheño. Jasone Mancheño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute Carlo Lambert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Sastre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes, Alessandro Brizuela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deoxis F.C. and the Gauchal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alexis Arcos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

But to his dismay, Sisebuto Constantinescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Deoxis F.C.'s Nicodemo Tineo got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Deoxis F.C. booed when Gauchal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Savier Ibarboure didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jose Esteban Gorostizaga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sisebuto Constantinescu in the 69th minute.
