Sisebuto Constantinescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Alexis Arcos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Ubaldo Matildo Paz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gregorio Sastre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valiente Quilapan, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Deoxis F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Valiente Quilapan came free, but Gregorio Sastre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valiente Quilapan in the 22nd minute of play forced Deoxis F.C.'s goalkeeper Gregorio Sastre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th match minute, Deoxis F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermín Feldman to maneuver through the defense. Gregorio Sastre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valiente Quilapan went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Valiente Quilapan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gregorio Sastre was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Gregorio Sastre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xabier Orozco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Sisebuto Constantinescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelius Merino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xabier Orozco in the 42nd minute of play forced Deoxis F.C.'s goalkeeper Gregorio Sastre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cayucupil were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Deoxis F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zarpas Devilat took the corner. Nicodemo Tineo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Aurelius Merino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexis Arcos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Alexis Arcos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Valiente Quilapan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cayucupil's supporters rose to their feet, but Valiente Quilapan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Sastre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor Monsalve in the 59th minute of play forced Cayucupil's goalkeeper Aurelius Merino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 played minutes Deoxis F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Brizuela. Aurelius Merino came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Deoxis F.C.'s Alexis Arcos. But to his dismay, Alexis Arcos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Sisebuto Constantinescu charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sisebuto Constantinescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Deoxis F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sisebuto Constantinescu. Gregorio Mena's late challenge caught a Cayucupil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregorio Mena helped the player get up and apologised. Gregorio Mena kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When Xabier Orozco came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Cayucupil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xabier Orozco couldn't finish the play. Gregorio Mena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelius Merino having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Sisebuto Constantinescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelius Merino was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Aurelius Merino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexis Arcos in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Mena in the 88th minute of play forced Cayucupil's goalkeeper Aurelius Merino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alexis Arcos came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Deoxis F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexis Arcos couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Deoxis F.C. were the better team. Deoxis F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
