Romano Asendegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 played minutes Romano Asendegui rounded Taimo FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 16th minute, Romano Asendegui reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adelio Monzón. The goal made the score 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Taimo FC's zone, Ismael Livingstone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adelio Monzón came out of the goal and Ismael Livingstone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Taimo FC's Adelio Monzón got control of the ball when Ismael Livingstone tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel Hernánde Santander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salomón Marcou in the 26th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Luciano Sarfate managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taimo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Sarfate was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Hernánde Santander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the game, Theobald Varas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Strokes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taimo FC the free kick. In the 30th minute, one of FC Strokes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Strokes. The referee gave Taimo FC a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Florián Lorie, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Strokes's Miguel Hernánde Santander. 2-1. Hermelando Wenner hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Emmanuel Jaraquemada kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Adelio Monzón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romano Asendegui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adelio Monzón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romano Asendegui in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romano Asendegui made a kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Strokes's goalkeeper Miguel Hernánde Santander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Romano Asendegui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, FC Strokes's Geofredo Morandé got a free kick in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Luciano Sarfate managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taimo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Sarfate was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Hernánde Santander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Taimo FC's Luciano Sarfate got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ismael Livingstone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adelio Monzón having to make a save. In the 83rd match minute, FC Strokes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Disvandis Cavada to maneuver through the defense. Taimo FC's Florián Lorie couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Strokes. In the 84th minute, Francisco José Rabe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Taimo FC's Luciano Sarfate suffered a sore thigh after 90 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Francisco José Rabe fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Strokes's protests and gave Francisco José Rabe a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Taimo FC booed when FC Strokes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco José Rabe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Florián Lorie shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miguel Hernánde Santander showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Salomón Marcou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Taimo FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Strokes.
