Ismael Livingstone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Romano Asendegui kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adelmo Marchant. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, FC Strokes's Romano Asendegui sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adelmo Marchant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tacata's Adelmo Marchant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romano Asendegui in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tacata's zone, Romano Asendegui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adelmo Marchant came out of the goal and Romano Asendegui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bertrán Lorca might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Hernánde Santander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertrán Lorca ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 20 minutes, Héctor Galdos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tacata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Héctor Galdos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Tacata's goal looked a bit too open when Romano Asendegui came free, but Adelmo Marchant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, FC Strokes's goal looked a bit too open when Héctor Galdos came free, but Miguel Hernánde Santander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Hernánde Santander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor Galdos, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Ismael Livingstone took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adelmo Marchant. Adelmo Marchant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Romano Asendegui came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the FC Strokes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romano Asendegui couldn't finish the play. Héctor Galdos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Hernánde Santander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertrán Lorca, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Miguel Hernánde Santander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Héctor Galdos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Juanjo Aris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Hernánde Santander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. FC Strokes's Miguel Hernánde Santander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Héctor Galdos in the 60th minute of play. After some careless play in the Tacata defense, Romano Asendegui kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adelmo Marchant. The Tacata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adelmo Marchant should have stopped the shot. FC Strokes's Miguel Hernánde Santander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save FC Strokes from getting a goal against them. Héctor Galdos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Miguel Hernánde Santander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Ismael Livingstone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelmo Marchant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adelmo Marchant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romano Asendegui's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. After having played for 87 minutes, Héctor Galdos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tacata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Héctor Galdos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ismael Livingstone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adelmo Marchant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romano Asendegui in the 92nd minute of the match. If Romano Asendegui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romano Asendegui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelmo Marchant having to interfere. FC Strokes's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
