Rere AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Granate the free kick. Emanuel Patrickson kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adelino Mannhardt in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inocente Lindsay saved Rere AFC from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Roque De Rurange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honorato Cobo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Roger Urtubia made a huge save. Sergio Ocampo was shown his second yellow card after 44 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gervasio Mas made a kick off. Honorato Cobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Roger Urtubia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Honorato Cobo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rere AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorato Cobo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Urtubia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 68 played minutes Granate got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Escobillana. Inocente Lindsay was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Juliano Halat. Roger Urtubia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Cobo in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gervasio Mas in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Urtubia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adelino Mannhardt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocente Lindsay having to interfere. When Carmelo Barrios came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Granate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmelo Barrios couldn't finish the play. Adelino Mannhardt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Inocente Lindsay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gervasio Mas struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Roger Urtubia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rere AFC. Adelino Mannhardt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carmelo Barrios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocente Lindsay having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
