Gaitán Aravena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Adriazola in the 3rd minute of the match. If Rollo Mann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jacobo Cervantes came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Malloa AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Cervantes couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the game, Mauro Unzaga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malloa AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Epic Club the free kick. After a rather tough play, Malloa AFC's Mauro Unzaga got a free kick in the 13th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Epic Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Cervantes came free, but Gaitán Aravena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aaron Adriazola fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malloa AFC's protests and gave Aaron Adriazola a yellow card for diving instead. Aaron Adriazola kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Epic Club's Xabier Oroeta got a free kick in the 28th minute. Epic Club's Gaitán Aravena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Cervantes in the 36th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacobo Cervantes in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaitán Aravena saved Epic Club from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinos Alzola to make the kick off. In the 57thth minute of the game Taurino Patterson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malloa AFC's Angelo Millán was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacobo Cervantes got free with Gaitán Aravena in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute Rollo Mann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaitán Aravena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Jacobo Cervantes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelo Millán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taurino Patterson in the 67th minute of the match. If Jacobo Cervantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Cervantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gaitán Aravena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Epic Club's Gaitán Aravena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Epic Club from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the match, Vinos Alzola notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Malloa AFC's Angelo Millán. Angelo Millán was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute of the match Remigio Tassara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaitán Aravena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vinos Alzola took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Millán. Angelo Millán dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Jacobo Cervantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Gaitán Aravena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
