Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Candido Mario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Maipu United's zone, Américo Argomedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Macuada came out of the goal and Américo Argomedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Mercé Martinic got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Luizão da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maipu United's supporters rose to their feet, but Luizão da Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Txomin Malky breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Américo Argomedo in the 18th minute of play forced Maipu United's goalkeeper Guido Macuada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 played minutes Niquen got a freekick which was hit by Odol Adelsdorfer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balendín Doebbel in the 21st minute of play forced Niquen's goalkeeper Txomin Malky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maipu United's Candido Mario got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Maipu United's goalkeeper Guido Macuada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mercé Martinic. In the 29th match minute, Niquen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Chamorro to maneuver through the defense. If Candido Mario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Txomin Malky came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Maipu United's Luizão da Rocha. But to his dismay, Luizão da Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Niquen's Mercé Martinic suffered a concussion after 46 minutes and had to leave the field. Genaro Tindall's late challenge caught a Niquen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genaro Tindall helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Genaro Tindall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Odol Adelsdorfer charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Odol Adelsdorfer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Niquen getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Odol Adelsdorfer hit a great ball. Luizão da Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Txomin Malky made a huge save. Candido Mario received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Txomin Malky came out and tried to block the shot, but Candido Mario slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 54th minute. Balendín Doebbel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Txomin Malky having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Maipu United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Orden to maneuver through the defense. Txomin Malky showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Aceituno, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Txomin Malky took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Amadeo Aceituno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Txomin Malky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Txomin Malky made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Luizão da Rocha sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute, Odol Adelsdorfer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão da Rocha in the 79th minute of play forced Niquen's goalkeeper Txomin Malky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niquen's Txomin Malky played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Mario in the 80th minute of play. If Balendín Doebbel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salamón Laferte in the 88th minute of play forced Maipu United's goalkeeper Guido Macuada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd match minute, Niquen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Chamorro to maneuver through the defense. Maipu United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
