Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rufino Izquierdo kicked off to start the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sarayuma reached it. 11 minutes into the match, Sarayuma's goal looked a bit too open when Odón Schnaidt came free, but José Marcelo Pulido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Juan Luis Evar fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarayuma's protests and gave Juan Luis Evar a yellow card for diving instead. Juan Luis Evar hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sarayuma's zone, Silvio Eguiluz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Marcelo Pulido came out of the goal and Silvio Eguiluz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Luis Evar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Tomás Cisneros having to make a save. Pedro Tomás Cisneros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Luis Evar in the 31st minute. Rufino Izquierdo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Pedro Tomás Cisneros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Juan Luis Evar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarayuma's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Luis Evar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Tomás Cisneros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Juan Luis Evar managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 68thth minute of the game Rufino Izquierdo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chanaral's Pedro Tomás Cisneros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. José Marcelo Pulido came out of the goal and Silvio Eguiluz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rufino Izquierdo in the 94th minute of play forced Chanaral's goalkeeper Pedro Tomás Cisneros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sarayuma were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chanaral for a fine match.
