Spectators: 3000 (Terracing: 2000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaime Basualdo started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Iltapata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelio Ansaldo to maneuver through the defense. 3 minutes into the match, Guancamala's Nicasio Saralegui sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nahuel Dick narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Iltapata FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Rufino Wenner hit a great ball. In the 7th minute of the match Oliverio Demartis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nahuel Dick showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 9th minute Frances Zegarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nahuel Dick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute Roy Martos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabián Nancupel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nahuel Dick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Basualdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Basualdo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victorio Marrodan kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Martos in the 19th minute of play forced Guancamala's goalkeeper Fabián Nancupel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Salomón Markmann sped through Guancamala's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabián Nancupel. In the 23rd match minute, Iltapata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salomón Markmann to maneuver through the defense. Victorio Marrodan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Basualdo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. Guancamala's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Jaime Basualdo took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Nahuel Dick to make any attempt to save it. After recieving a nice pass, Iltapata FC's Salomón Markmann tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Victorio Marrodan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 46th minute of the match Adelio Ansaldo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabián Nancupel skillfully saved the ball. Victorio Marrodan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roy Martos to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicasio Saralegui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nahuel Dick having to interfere. Jaime Basualdo might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nahuel Dick. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Basualdo ran back to his position shaking his head. Adelio Ansaldo made in the 58th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Salomón Arteche. A collision led to Iltapata FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Rufino Wenner hit a great ball. Nahuel Dick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Cristóbal Cervantes in the 64th minute of the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Victorio Marrodan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guancamala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorio Marrodan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Marrodan in the 70th minute of play forced Iltapata FC's goalkeeper Nahuel Dick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st match minute, Guancamala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Marrodan to maneuver through the defense. Asier Polanco was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Iltapata FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Adelio Ansaldo hit a great ball. Jaime Basualdo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nahuel Dick having to interfere. Roy Martos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Iltapata FC's Roy Martos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabián Nancupel. That made the score 1-2 after 82 minutes of play. Jaime Basualdo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nahuel Dick having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Rufino Wenner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute Nicasio Saralegui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nahuel Dick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guancamala were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
