With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeraldo Marshall in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matteo Gaona saved Pua from getting behind. Omar Rovers scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matteo Gaona, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jeraldo Marshall came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Freire FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeraldo Marshall couldn't finish the play. In the 16th match minute, Freire FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué Ávila to maneuver through the defense. Omar Rovers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matteo Gaona having to interfere. After some careless play in the Pua defense, Jeraldo Marshall kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matteo Gaona. The Pua fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matteo Gaona should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the game, Josué Ávila cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Matteo Gaona was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute, Filiberto Dechent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matteo Gaona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Rovers in the 43rd minute of the match. Federico Chauriye blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stefano Escalona having to make a save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omar Rovers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Gerardo Fonseca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pua and the Freire FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, Gerardo Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stefano Escalona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandro Chiguaicura, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With his leg Matteo Gaona managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Freire FC's Jeraldo Marshall fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Federico Chauriye fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefano Escalona having to interfere. Jeraldo Marshall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Matteo Gaona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matteo Gaona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeraldo Marshall, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute, Omar Rovers fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Matteo Gaona, passed just outside the right post. Matteo Gaona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Rovers in the 74th minute of play. Jeraldo Marshalls short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Matteo Gaona to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Rovers in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matteo Gaona prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeraldo Marshall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matteo Gaona having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, Pua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. Jeraldo Marshall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Matteo Gaona made a huge save. Matteo Gaona didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 87th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. If Jeraldo Marshall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freire FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
