Caquena FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave dimensiones the free kick. After 56 minutes of play, Caquena FC's Baraquiel Devia made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caquena FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Baldomero Andrade hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Caquena FC's zone, Seran Larrazabal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Miguel Echavarría came out of the goal and Seran Larrazabal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jose Miguel Echavarría took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baldomero Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Miguel Hernánde Ornaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Constancio Aliaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Hernánde Ornaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Jose Miguel Echavarría didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Salomone Parodi went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched dimensiones eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
