Vladimiro Serre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eloi Polhemus's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the game, Eloi Polhemus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vladimiro Serre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 11th minute, Lois Larraguibel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimiro Serre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloi Polhemus, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Eloi Polhemus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 played minutes Ninhue got a freekick which was hit by Lois Larraguibel. In the 30th minute of the match Rexino Castillo Velasco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vladimiro Serre showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Podador Borghi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Modestio Olmos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domenico Catoni was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Ninhue:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Huacamala FC:s goal. In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Huacamala FC. Rexino Castillo Velasco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vladimiro Serre. 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Isidoro Alsina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vladimiro Serre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xaiver Lafferte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eladio Darricades charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eladio Darricades the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ninhue booed when Huacamala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eladio Darricades didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Xaiver Lafferte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 71 played minutes Eloi Polhemus rounded Ninhue's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Xaiver Laffertes short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Vladimiro Serre to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Xaiver Lafferte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Vladimiro Serre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xaiver Lafferte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Xaiver Lafferte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eloi Polhemus struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Vladimiro Serre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huacamala FC. The Huacamala FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Huacamala FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
