Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eric Vallejo in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Israel Manguyague prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th minute, Andy Argomedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Israel Manguyague made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Maurilio Lezaeta sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th minute, Hilario Dinarte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ancallapo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Maurilio Lezaeta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Israel Manguyague made a huge save. If Efraín Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Arauco's goalkeeper Eder Bear, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Maurilio Lezaeta sped through Ancallapo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Israel Manguyague. Eder Bear took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Dinarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurilio Lezaeta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Israel Manguyague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ancallapo FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Andy Argomedo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ancallapo FC's Andy Argomedo got a free kick in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Eric Vallejo made the kick off in the second half. Fermín Otarola hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Efraín Murillo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Eder Bear didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ancallapo FC. Hilario Dinarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Efraín Murillo made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 63rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Eder Bear would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. If Maurilio Lezaeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Israel Manguyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurilio Lezaeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 78 played minutes Ancallapo FC got a freekick which was hit by Severino Avalos. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Eric Vallejo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arauco's supporters rose to their feet, but Eric Vallejo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Israel Manguyague breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Arauco booed when Ancallapo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Castañeda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hilario Dinarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Eder Bear tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
