Spectators: 7374 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ivari Haavel took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Lu Ping Zhan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maximiliano Vásquez. The goal made the score 1-0. Llanquen FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Lu Ping Zhan scored to the left of an out of position Maximiliano Vásquez, making the score, 2-0. Maximiliano Vásquez was a little too slow when Lu Ping Zhan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 3-0. Jon-Ander Gafo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute Lu Ping Zhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Vásquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Llanquen FC booed when KR Reykjavík was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valiente Torrijo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in KR Reykjavík fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! Maximiliano Vásquez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lu Ping Zhan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 28 minute of play. With a little luck, Llanquen FC's Maximiliano Vásquez got control of the ball when Gaitano Ojier tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of KR Reykjavík booed when Llanquen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafín Marchant didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute of the match, Lu Ping Zhan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maximiliano Vásquez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 41 minutes into the match, Salbatore Sotta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tanausu Angulo. KR Reykjavík's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salbatore Sotta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. KR Reykjavík's Lu Ping Zhan got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Llanquen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lu Ping Zhan came free, but Maximiliano Vásquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serafín Marchant to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Serafín Marchant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanausu Angulo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lu Ping Zhan struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Maximiliano Vásquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KR Reykjavík. Lu Ping Zhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lu Ping Zhan scored 5-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximiliano Vásquez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 71 minutes into the game, one of Llanquen FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Maximiliano Vásquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lu Ping Zhan in the 77th minute of play. Samuel Irigoyen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Vásquez having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oriol Page during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Llanquen FC's Oriol Page got a free kick in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Llanquen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lu Ping Zhan came free, but Maximiliano Vásquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lu Ping Zhan in the 82nd minute of play forced Llanquen FC's goalkeeper Maximiliano Vásquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Samuel Irigoyen managed to get in a good position for a shot. KR Reykjavík's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Irigoyen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Vásquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the game, KR Reykjavík's Samuel Irigoyen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximiliano Vásquez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. Lu Ping Zhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximiliano Vásquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. When Ivari Haavel came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the KR Reykjavík fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivari Haavel couldn't finish the play. Tanausu Angulo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salbatore Sotta in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the KR Reykjavík players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
