Spectators: 6706 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1706, VIP seats: 0) Val Mioño started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 9th minute, Desiderio Basaure got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Morichal FC's Desiderio Basaure got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Omar Urrejola hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. If Ursino Montalva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Desiderio Basaure sped through Macal AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paulino Avalos. After some careless play in the Morichal FC defense, Ursino Montalva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurilio Mateluna. The Morichal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurilio Mateluna should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the game, Fabio Marull threw the ball into play from the sideline. Morichal FC's Jonathan Campino quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Val Mioño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Ursino Montalva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Morichal FC's Desiderio Basaure got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ursino Montalva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Desiderio Basaure made a kick off. When Ursino Montalva came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Macal AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ursino Montalva couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute of the match, Desiderio Basaure tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paulino Avalos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 61st minute Val Mioño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurilio Mateluna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Morichal FC booed when Macal AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Miguel Arrate didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Cristofer Paternost hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Desiderio Basaure in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulino Avalos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Macal AFC's Paulino Avalos got control of the ball when Desiderio Basaure tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marc Colipi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Marull's late challenge caught a Morichal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabio Marull helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Macal AFC's Fabio Marull got a free kick in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Val Mioño in the 83rd minute of play forced Morichal FC's goalkeeper Maurilio Mateluna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Desiderio Basaure in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Avalos saved Macal AFC from getting behind. Desiderio Basaure's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulino Avalos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Fabio Marull hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 played minutes Macal AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sergi Machuca. The Macal AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Morichal FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
