Niguel Lezaeta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Niguel Lezaeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Molina's Niguel Lezaeta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicasio Aguero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Justino Moraga charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justino Moraga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Rarín FC got a freekick which was hit by Justino Moraga. Niguel Lezaeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Manuelo Espiñeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Niguel Lezaeta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuelo Espiñeira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicasio Aguero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. If Niguel Lezaeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuelo Espiñeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Nicasio Aguero made a huge save. When Enrico Aballay came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Rarín FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrico Aballay couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niguel Lezaeta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Molina got a freekick which was hit by Manuelo Espiñeira. Rarín FC's Nicasio Aguero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Cotapos in the 58th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Manuelo Espiñeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicasio Aguero was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Enrico Aballay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th of the match, Giancarlo Goicoechea tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Lauro Vigil got in the way and made a wonderful save. After a rather tough play, Molina's Joaquin Cotapos got a free kick in the 70th minute. Nicasio Aguero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niguel Lezaeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 85th minute of the match, Odilón Kovasic tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lauro Vigil saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Natanael Erwenne's late challenge caught a Rarín FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natanael Erwenne helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd rose to their feet as Rarín FC's Giancarlo Goicoechea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lauro Vigil. That made the score 1-1 after 88 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Rarín FC defense, Manuelo Espiñeira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicasio Aguero. The Rarín FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicasio Aguero should have stopped the shot. Manuelo Espiñeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Nicasio Aguero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rarín FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Molina.
