The referee ignored Millantu FC's protests and gave Silvino Doursther a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Millantu FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Silvino Doursther hit a great ball. Victor Hugo Cangas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Blanco having to interfere. When Casimír Schorr fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laureles's protests and gave Casimír Schorr a yellow card for diving instead. Casimír Schorr hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincente Poza in the 18th minute of play forced Millantu FC's goalkeeper Amado Blanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Victor Hugo Cangas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victoro Musalem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Carlos Abeliuk to make the kick off. The supporters of Laureles booed when Millantu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Milroy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vincente Poza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Blanco having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Millantu FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Laureles had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
