With an all-out effort, DemolitionBoys05's Rigoberto Mattensohn threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aurelio Popelaire, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mateo Jozic in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Darien Herdoyza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gerardo Mella's late challenge caught a Yalanusco AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Mella helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to DemolitionBoys05 getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gerardo Mella hit a great ball. In the 11th minute of the match Aristides Barasarte sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Darien Herdoyza skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Yalanusco AFC booed when DemolitionBoys05 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Popelaire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elodio Ochoa might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rigoberto Mattensohn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elodio Ochoa ran back to his position shaking his head. Patricio Lantaño received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rigoberto Mattensohn came out and tried to block the shot, but Patricio Lantaño slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the match, DemolitionBoys05's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Jozic came free, but Darien Herdoyza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by DemolitionBoys05's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aristides Barasarte was slow to take the kick. During this time Yalanusco AFC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Aristides Barasarte got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Darien Herdoyza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 22 minutes into the match, Yalanusco AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Saúl Federici came free, but Rigoberto Mattensohn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Jozic in the 24th minute of play forced DemolitionBoys05's goalkeeper Darien Herdoyza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Yalanusco AFC were awarded a corner. Aristides Barasarte went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Yalanusco AFC's Eladio Vargas getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Rigoberto Píriz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Darien Herdoyza. DemolitionBoys05's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rigoberto Mattensohn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elodio Ochoa in the 32nd minute. Patricio Lantaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Yalanusco AFC's goalkeeper Rigoberto Mattensohn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eladio Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, Yalanusco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naelio Bourchier to maneuver through the defense. The wind increased when Patricio Lantaño made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Yalanusco AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Lantaño came free, but Rigoberto Mattensohn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Yalanusco AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Aristides Barasarte hit a great ball. Rigoberto Mattensohn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elodio Ochoa in the 61st minute of the match. The long shot by Rigoberto Píriz in the 64th minute really tested Darien Herdoyza's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Patricio Lantaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Elodio Ochoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Darien Herdoyza was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jeraldo Delporte. Patricio Lantaño blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rigoberto Mattensohn having to make a save. After some careless play in the Yalanusco AFC defense, Patricio Lantaño kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rigoberto Mattensohn. The Yalanusco AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rigoberto Mattensohn should have stopped the shot. Elodio Ochoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Rigoberto Mattensohn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Patricio Lantaño cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Rigoberto Mattensohn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Darien Herdoyza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Jozic in the 84th minute of the match. When the match had been going on for 94 minutes, Yalanusco AFC's Aristides Barasarte got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Darien Herdoyza. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. DemolitionBoys05 had played much better football throughout.
